Meet Dr. Mendoza
Dr. J.Carlos Mendoza has been in the field of dentistry for over 10 years, including 6 years practicing in Central California. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.S. Degree in Environmental Science (2004) and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from one of America’s most distinguished dental schools, the University of California at Los Angeles (2009). At the UCLA School of Dentistry, Dr. Mendoza received the George F. Baker Scholarship and the prestigious National Health Service Corps Scholarship.
During his second year in the field, Dr. Mendoza became a Continuing Education lecturer for the University of California at Los Angeles and served as an Adjunct Faculty at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. He is now an active member in the following professional organizations: the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA), and the Fresno/Madera Dental Society. Dr. Mendoza volunteers with several prominent local non-profit dental organizations, including but not limited to TeamSmile, where he volunteers to provide dental services to underserved children.
Along with his staff, Dr. Mendoza, is dedicated to educating, treating, and maintaining his patients’ optimal oral health in a manner consistent with his education at UCLA School of Dentistry, which focused on “putting the patient first”.
During his leisure time Dr. Mendoza enjoys training for and competing in triathlons, playing soccer, and learning new languages.
